Head of Sales

Our company is seeking a Head of Sales to work full-time in our Malta office. We are a team of ~50 highly dedicated professionals and operate in a fast-paced startup environment where productivity is key. As the Head of Sales for a market-leading Fin-Tech company, you will have an exciting opportunity to develop your technical and client services skills in an established Fin-Tech environment. Familiarity with finance (in various areas) is strongly preferred.


We offer flexible work hours and the ability to work remotely except when there are important in-person meetings. While most potential clients are located in European timezones, our base is global and some flexibility may be needed on your part to accommodate clients in Asia or the Americas.


As a leading FinTech company headquartered in London, we are at the forefront of disruption in financial services using cutting-edge technologies such as NLU, AI, Big Data, and chatbots. Understanding of technologies is beneficial, and experience with APIs (or the willingness to learn) is essential.

Key Responsibilities for Head of Sales:

  • Identify potential clients, negotiate deals, and manage relationships with clients and partners.
  • Manage our pipeline and sales processes (we use Pipedrive and Zoho)
  • Conduct demos with prospective clients and develop sales materials
  • Assist Head of Marketing in developing marketing strategies while closely working with other teams, such as product development and designers
  • Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
  • Evangelize the product and personally help close largest deals
  • Work collaboratively across teams – including Engineering, Product, and Marketing



  • Experience in B2B sales, fintech, or the investment sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills (including via virtual platforms (i.e., email and video calls)).
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
  • A passion for sales and adding value; you enjoy the art of going to market and get excited about closing deals and helping customers
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory


You must be located in Malta or be willing to relocate to Malta. We can offer sponsorship for the right candidate. Interviews may be conducted via video call if needed.
